We are building the cost layer for everything you run.

Cloud, AI, and SaaS each bill in their own language. Costroid reads them all in one open standard, so you can trace every dollar back to the team, product, or customer behind it.

Built on the FinOps Foundation’s open framework and standards

One model serves every division at once. It lands as one line on one invoice. Nobody can say which team asked for it, or what it was worth.

  • 98%of FinOps teams now manage AI spend, up from 31% two years ago.
  • 9 in 10manage SaaS spend today or plan to within the next year.
  • 29%of cloud spend is estimated wasted: the first rise in five years, driven by AI and new PaaS/SaaS complexity.

Tokens are becoming the new unit of technology spend.

Tokens are becoming the new unit of technology spend.A stacked area chart of estimated monthly AI token processing from 2024 to 2030, in quadrillion tokens per month, split into non-agent workloads, consumer agents and enterprise agents. The total is 1.7 in 2025 and 5 in 2026, the last observed year. The projection beyond it reaches 47 by 2028 and 120 by 2030, by which point the two agent categories are most of the total.today24× by 2030

Every one of those tokens lands on an invoice. Cost per token, cache hit ratio, token-to-spend drift: Costroid reads them in the same open schema as your cloud bill.

FinOps is deciding technology spend on purpose instead of reading it off an invoice later. Engineers see what they spend, finance sees what it bought. The FinOps Foundation defines the discipline and we build on their framework.

Marks of the cloud, data and AI providers whose billing Costroid reads (among them Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei, OVHcloud, Vercel, Databricks, Grafana, Redis, OpenAI and Anthropic) arriving continuously into a stack of three layers: FOCUS at the base, the FinOps Framework above it, and Costroid on top.

First capabilities shipping on that stack:

  • Anomaly & waste detection
  • Financial planning & forecasting
  • Dashboards & reporting
  • Virtual tagging

Costroid rests on three commitments:

  1. Keep the data sovereign.
  2. Take the FinOps Framework as the north star.
  3. Make FOCUS the default format.

Sovereignty is a constraint from the first line, not a setting at the end. Cost data stays where the organization needs it to stay.

The FinOps Framework is the FinOps Foundation’s map of the discipline: understand spend, quantify its value, optimize it, keep the practice running. We follow that map capability by capability.

FOCUS is the open billing standard the major clouds already export (FOCUS 1.4, June 2026). We read it natively rather than keeping a private model per vendor, so allocation is written once and holds everywhere. What does not export it, we map. The Linux Foundation launched the Tokenomics Foundation in August 2026, and token telemetry is headed into the same spec.
